50% Organic combed cotton, 50% Italian linen Alchemy weave 265gsm Moondust Ash Nocturne woven wrap baby carriers are made from a soft, marled grey cotton warp and shimmering silver linen weft. Our Italian linen has a touch of magic about it, making it incredibly soft and not prone to creasing, whilst still keeping all the other great qualities that linen brings to a woven wrap. The linen has a natural shimmer and it is very breathable, helping to regulate temperature well. It will keep you comfortable in hot weather and layer nicely in the winter. The long linen fibres have limited stretch meaning that the wrap tightens quickly, and feels supportive even in single-layered carries. The alchemy weave teamed with our special linen means that this wrap doesn’t need much breaking in and is great for beginners. It is mid-weight, flexible and moulding enough for tiny babies, but it is still comfy with large children. Part of the magic comes from how easy this wrap is to use, meaning that you get a snug and even carry that will stay comfortable for long periods. We used this linen back when we first set up the company and it was a fond favourite for many people so we’re super excited to have a new source to use! The design is our Nocturne design which features full and crescent moons against a background of stars and comets, framed by fluffy moonlit clouds.

Our limited edition wraps are made from cloth that is woven in Lancashire, England from ethically sourced yarns, and our wraps are sewn by hand here too! All wraps are fully reversible, meaning that you can wear them on either side out for two different looks to the design. These reviews are from customers who bought our Sleepydust Cirrus Nocturne wrap, which has the same yarns but in different colours
This was my go to wrap in the summer, so cool, light and supportive. It washed well and stood up to toddler treatment. I was dubious about linen but it softened so quickly and was really comfortable to use. I love this wrap! It feels thinner than Halcyon Chryso Murmuration, which is great for me since I live in a subtropical climate. This is an excellent wrap for even the hottest of days. The design is detailed and stunning.
** Limited time offer! When you buy a wrap we’ll send you a free 30cm Ash collection sample pack!**

This is my first FiSpi and I am already head-over-heels in love with it.
The first thing that struck me was the little beautiful details in the pattern. It looks unbelievably thoughtful and detailed and makes me feel special in a Stevie-Nicks-would-wear-this kind of way, which is to say I feel witchy and cool in it.
After a soak, wash and iron, it was pretty stiff on the grey linen side still, I would say that is has started to soften considerably after 5 washes and quite a few wears in the last 3 weeks.
What struck me first is how comfy and easy to tighten it was and is, despite not being fully broken-in.
The linen thread is a bit thicker and rougher, while the Ash cotton is extremely soft and a finer thread. Also, the linen really is not so prone to creasing, which is phenomenal news to me – a lover of linen’s properties but not of its upkeep.
It is really hot here lately and I find that it is the perfect summer and everyday wrap for me – airy, soft and sturdy. The last part I want to stress especially: who wants an airy wrap that digs in in the heat, really?! This one doesn’t and still feels so light – it also a lightweight feel when picked up. And yet, comfy and not stuffy even in a DH in the heat.
Honestly, I love it and feel very special in it. Baby, who is a 10 month old sweet chunk seems to love it too and loves enjos snuggling it and biting it.
The colours are stunning irl – the Ash warp is just the perfect tone between grey and black and the grey side looks silver, which is just really pretty and goes with pretty much everything really.
All my other wraps watch me reach for the moons again and again every day these last weeks – they are just that lovely.

This is such a lovely and strong wrap.
I love the details of the pattern and the linen looks silvery and just perfect for this design on the ash background.
The wrap is strong and supportive, comfortable and not diggy on my shoulders with my 13kg baby.
It is breaking in surprisingly quickly, I found the linen a bit scratchy after the first wash but it’s already much softer after an iron and just a few ups. Really looking forward to see how much softer it gets. And I found that if I smooth it out and fold it after wearing there is very little wrinkling, no need for constant ironing.
It is also – possibly incidentally – the first wrap I managed a decent ruck with and that was just a cherry on the top of my love for this wrap 🙂
