A short explanation of the Firespiral gift vouchers and account credit system

What are gift vouchers?

Gift vouchers are a type of account credit that can be bought from our online shop.

Firespiral gift vouchers are virtual, not physical. When you purchase one you are asked for the email address that you wish to send the gift card to. You also have the option of sending a message with your email.

The recipient will receive an email which contains your message and a gift voucher ‘code’. This is a random series of letters and numbers that can be copied and pasted to a customer account or into a shopping cart at checkout.

The gift voucher then displays as a ‘coupon’ in the customer cart or account.

A Firespiral gift voucher does not have to all be spent in one go, any remaining credit will show in the customer account.

What is account credit?

Account credit is something that is usually generated by Firespiral HQ. It will be sent to you as a voucher ‘code’ by email. This is a random series of letters and numbers that can be copied and pasted to your account or into a shopping cart at checkout.

The account credit then displays as a ‘coupon’ in the customer cart or account.

The account credit does not have to all be spent in one go, any remaining credit will show in your account.

I had credit on my old Firespiral website account – where is it?

Unfortunately, this is no longer available. We contacted you before the site relocation and left your old account available to access for 12 months afterwards.

How do I pay with a gift voucher?

When you want to pay with a gift voucher or credit that you have already have applied to your account it is essential that you choose ‘add to basket’ rather than ‘buy now’ as the ‘buy now’ bypasses all other options and takes you directly to the payment screen.

Once you have progressed to the basket screen you can type in a coupon code or click onto an already applied coupon.
