62% Organic Combed Cotton, 25% Italian Supersoft Linen, 13% Lambswool Merino Wool

Our Celestine Stargaze Murmuration Woven Wraps have a shimmery pale grey linen and merino blend weft against a grey-blue organic cotton warp, woven using our tighter Elements weave. Our Murmuration design shows a starling murmuration over a wintery treeline. These wraps are medium weight and work well from birth to toddler. They have good diagonal stretch and a little bounce making them easy to wrap well with and comfortable to wear. The textured weft adds grip to the satin-like warp which will help lock your carries in place.

This wrap is machine washable on a wool or delicates setting, using a wool specific detergent.

Our limited edition wraps are made from cloth that is woven in Lancashire, England from ethically sourced yarns, and our wraps are sewn by hand here too! All wraps are fully reversible, meaning that you can wear them either side out for two different looks to the design.

These wraps are worth 3 points towards our loyalty club membership.

Woven Wrap Sizing

Wrap sizes don’t work in the same way as clothing.

Size numbers refer to the length of the woven wrap- the larger the number, the longer the wrap.

Each size is 50cm (20”) longer than the previous size.

SIZE 1 = 2.2M (7’2”)
SIZE 2 = 2.7M (8’8”)
SIZE 3 = 3.2M (10’ 8”)
SIZE 4 = 3.7M (12’)
SIZE 5 = 4.2M (13’8)
SIZE 6 = 4.7M (15’4”)
SIZE 7 = 5.2M (17’)
SIZE 8 = 5.7M (18’7”)
SIZE 9 = 6.2M (20’3”)

Each length offers different options for tying, so there isn’t a single size that will ‘fit you.

Your body size will determine how big a wrap you need for tying each specific carry. For example, the Front Wrap Cross Carry is a popular starter carry. Some people will be able to use a size 6 for this carry, but others may need a longer (or shorter) wrap depending on their body and baby size.

I’m loving this wrap so much. The murmuration pattern is gorgeous. I find this wrap to be really sturdy and reliable, the blend with linen and wool is strong with a little bounce.

  2. glwalmsley (verified owner)

A dream to wrap with – snuggly, supportive and grippy with a little bounce. My wrappees are 4 months and 4 years and does them both brilliantly! Beautiful design and colours – goes with anything!

I love the way this wraps! Baby feels almost weightless, and imagine it will fare well into the toddler years. Medium thickness and very forgiving to wrap with. With a name like Celestine Stargaze, it’s fitting that this wrap reminds me of the sky – beautiful muted grey-blue and cool silvery grey.

its brightness is impressive. it is perfect in the hand, and when wrapped, the passes and knots of it are fixed. It has excellent grip and support. I recommend this wrap.

I love this wrap a bit more every time I use it. I can do the most hurried, sloppy wrapping job in the world and the wrap will compensate for it. I don’t know how to explain this but my toddler feels virtually weightless in it. The pattern is beautiful and the fabric feels soft, thick and snuggly – perfect for most British days but particularly for colder months.

This wrap is forgiving, cushy and amazing for any size. I’m very picky on short wraps but this is possibly one wrap to rule them all. I’ve tried long (mine) and short (my friend’s). Elements weave has an amazing stretch that pretty much eliminates dig in a wrap as heavy as this, and makes the wrap extremely unlikely to overtighten. It’s more heavy duty than soft and floppy feel, but certainly malleable enough for my newborn.

This has been my favourite wrap since it arrived. It’s comfy, forgiving, strong, supportive, easy to wrap with and breathtakingly beautiful. I The subtle pattern and pale blue colour complement each other perfectly.

I have Celestine Stargaze Murmuration in a base size. Before getting it, I had heard that Celestine was really good for larger kids. I have found that to be true with my 13kg/30lb child, though I have only used it for back carries so far. After the first 3 washes and a few ups, it has already fluffed up and developed a beautiful texture. It wraps solidly with the tighter elements weave, and I think it will also gain fluidity and drape as it breaks in further. The pattern provides good grip but the wrap is also already soft enough that my child loves to curl up in it whenever our walk is over.

Soft and supportive even with my huge toddler
