60% Organic combed cotton, 40% Italian spun viscose, 245gsm

Our limited edition Astral Blood Moon Curves of Pursuit woven wrap features our mathematical Curves of Pursuit design with a weft of Italian spun viscose across our striking red to orange Blood Moon warp.

This is a medium weight Elements weave wrap that has amazing bandage-like stretch which makes it so very easy to get a very good wrap job. The texture locks your carry in place too! This wrap is perfect from newborn due to its thinness and softness, but works surprisingly well with a heavier child!

See our wrap database for more information!

Our limited edition wraps are made from cloth that is woven in Lancashire, England from ethically sourced yarns, and our wraps are sewn by hand here too!

Woven Wrap Sizing

Wrap sizes don’t work in the same way as clothing.

Size numbers refer to the length of the woven wrap- the larger the number, the longer the wrap.

Each size is 50cm (20”) longer than the previous size.

SIZE 1 = 2.2M (7’2”)
SIZE 2 = 2.7M (8’8”)
SIZE 3 = 3.2M (10’ 8”)
SIZE 4 = 3.7M (12’)
SIZE 5 = 4.2M (13’8)
SIZE 6 = 4.7M (15’4”)
SIZE 7 = 5.2M (17’)
SIZE 8 = 5.7M (18’7”)
SIZE 9 = 6.2M (20’3”)

Each length offers different options for tying, so there isn’t a single size that will ‘fit you.

Your body size will determine how big a wrap you need for tying each specific carry. For example, the Front Wrap Cross Carry is a popular starter carry. Some people will be able to use a size 6 for this carry, but others may need a longer (or shorter) wrap depending on their body and baby size.

Our favourite wrap! Bought this recently as a summer wrap for our four-month old and it’s exceeded all our expectations. Beautiful, lightweight and phenomenally easy to work with. The quality of the weave is exceptional and the graduated design makes it easy to use for beginners.

Thank you! We are thrilled that you love your wrap xx

I bought this wrap to use with my two toddlers for the summer. I was drawn to this wrap for its symmetrical design and the fantastic graduated colours from red to orange.

The wrapping qualities of this wrap are fantastic, it is a very forgiving if you don’t make it tight enough the first time as it will hold the child in place. Even after the first use it was incredibly mouldable and had plenty of bounce to the wrap. It is an excellent first wrap to get in to baby wearing with!

I feel that this wrap would be an excellent wrap to use for the summer with both newborns and toddlers. I feel that everyone from beginners at wrapping to more experienced wrappers will be able to use this amazing wrap.

Astral blood moon curves of pursuit has quickly become one of our favorite wraps. It is thin in hand with a lovely drape and softens up nicely after only a couple uses. The passes glide easily and the viscose and pattern lock it in place. For as thin as it is, it is also very supportive and comfortable with both my 5 year old and one year old. And the colors are absolutely gorgeous! This wrap brings us a lot of joy. Thank you Firespiral!

We bought this wrap as a thin summer wrap and have not been disappointed! It is thin, but not diggy, and still really supportive. It has a great balance of glide and grip, and is easy to use from the outset. The colours are also amazing, and this wrap really showcases the Blood Moon gradient. I’m looking forward to wearing this a lot more this summer!

Astral Blood Moon COP both met and exceeded my high expectations of it. The colors are obviously gorgeous and the COP design allows for perfect texture so passes glide easily without being too slick. This wrap produces the most gorgeous pleats and secure slip knots without feeling like you have to force it through. It’s supportive with a very slight stretch and has been wonderful for my toddler in base size carries.

I thought this grad was so beautiful when I saw it, but as a thick wrap lover I was on the fence about a thinner wrap. I’m so glad I took the chance. The wrap is so stunning in person, the orange to red is so vibrant and the gray weft really enhances it. It is thinner than I am used to, but isn’t diggy on my shoulders. The grip from the pattern and tighter elements weave give it a nice sturdy feeling and helps to keep the wrap job in place. I love it as a ruck wrap!

As a novice wrapper I dithered over a few different wraps before settling on the Astral Blood Moon Curves of Pursuit. Jen was really helpful in helping me make my choice (basically pick the one I loved the look of– which was rather hard as they are all so beautiful!) I was worried this one was going to be a bit bright, but the colours are absolutely gorgeous; vibrant but not brash. The wrap has needed very little breaking in and was easy to handle from the start. The regular pattern is also really helpful as a new wrapper as it makes chasing out the slack a bit easier. It has a lovely bandage like quality; I really feel I am wrapping myself in a hug.

Such a gorgeous wrap, thin and floppy needed basically no breaking in. The different coloured rails make it perfect as one of my first wraps to help learn, and also love that it’s equally beautiful both sides. A little diggy at times due to the low GSM but probably mainly my inexpert wrapping technique!
